Our aim is to create an environment in which small scale, creative businesses can thrive and interact with the local community. A place where customers seek solace from the cynicism of the high street, walk into a creative hub and experience a real sense of community.

Our weekday markets are more pushchair friendly, trade operates at a slower place, visitors and locals take time out at lunchtime to browse our stalls and enjoy a meal in one of the many restaurants and pubs that surround our market. The Coach and Horses is a favourite, its seating area forms part of the market and its selection of beers and award winning food is recommended.

On Thursdays the market opens at 6:30 for early risers and antiques and collectables traders who scour the market for rare goods and bargains.

Fridays are a smaller scale version of our weekend markets with our traders mostly selling Vintage Clothing, Arts and Crafts together with a number of antiques traders.
